The Memorials of Blackburn and Darwen
This information about the sites of war memorials in Blackburn and Darwen has been compiled by Blackburn Local History Society. It includes memorials at churches, schools, industrial buildings, clubs and some private memorials. It also includes those memorials which are sited in public places such as Corporation Park. We would like to thank Ray Smith for donating this collection of material for use as part of the project. Darwen Camera Club have been involved with their own separate project photographing and documenting the war memorials of Darwen which they have kindly contributed for use on the site.
