Summer Flooding


It's been the wettest summer on record, and its not over yet. Wet summers and flooding are nothing new however.  Back in 1956 the Northern Daily Telegraph was reporting on local floods in its issue for August 2nd.


Eric Lewis's in Northgate glimpsed a silver lining to the cloud though and advertised  his 'Rainwear Bargains'
