Blackburn Cemetery contains 261 War Graves. The majority of these commemorate those members of the Forces who died as a result of the 2 World Wars. There are also 5 civilian graves, including those of James Marsden and James Orford who died as a result of the bomb which fell in Ainsworth Street in August 1940.
Gordon Hartley has recorded all the graves of RAF servicemen who died in the World Wars. He has also provided us with a walk around Blackburn Cemetery. To view the walk,
