This short film shows one of the doubtless many occasions when the River Darwen demonstrated a contempt for Blackburn by overflowing its banks at Waterfall. Viewers will note the inundated post office at the bottom of Peel Street and a flat-bed lorry used to rescue beleaguered home dwellers, as well as a policeman having a crafty cigarette under the bridge. 5 minutes 6 seconds.
